OBT Construction officially began operations in October of 1992 but I essentially grew up in the telephone business. My father, who spent over thirty years with what was then GTE, taught me the basics of the trade which I have carried over into my own business.
What began very modestly as a routine subcontract with BellSouth servicing the West Tennessee area has now grown into a corporation licensed and working in five States in the Southeast providing full service contracts; our mission – a commitment to provide value-added construction services at fair and market competitive prices to our customers by exceeding their expectations and gaining their trust through exceptional performance by every member of the construction team. Our long-standing relationships, and long-term service and maintenance agreements with AT&T, Frontier Communications, TEC and other companies enable them to consistently and dependably deliver quality services to their customers.
Whether plowing copper or fiber optic, pulling fiber optic cable through conduit, erecting utility poles, or rebuilding telephone systems, we adhere to the principles that have sustained our growth.
